Front dim lights out
Feb 09, 2010 - 11:52 AM - by mkn
Dear all,

Please try to answer tihis problem.
I parked my car in to a garage on friday evening, no problem what so ever. On monday morning I started the car and both head dim lights were out. I checked fuses (under the hood, number 10 and 11) and are all OK. Then I changed one bulb and still not working. I even disconnected the batery for a few seconds just in case. The problem still exists.
The car is Phedra 2.2, production early 2005.

Thanks for you answers.

Regards, MKN

Diesel Particle Additive
Feb 08, 2010 - 3:26 PM - by kithough
Hi Guys,

I'm a newby to the forum, just bought a second hand ulysse on an 04 plate that came up with the diesel particle filter level low, i've been jumping around forums to find advice and found this very useful, so thanks to all the posts.

Anyway i've found that FIAT do a DIY kit for a UK cosy of £44.85 +VAT that includes the liquid and connectors etc., i believe it does depend on the build of your vehicle but the part number was 9409736850

also i watched the Sales guy over his shoulder who accessed a website

FIAT ePER :: The FIAT Forum

which has all the parts listed etc !!!

Hope its usefull

And thanks

PDC problem
Feb 08, 2010 - 1:40 PM - by bernardlo
I own a Phedra DVD Edition which has PDC built in. My problem is that I had problems with my left outermost sensor once a while, which notices obstacles which were not there, however this happens only when he had become wet, when he has become dry again, the system works ok, what hindered me from trying any repair. However now the pdc stops working, which means that none of the sensors detects an obstacle allthough the display and the one short beep should gives me an otherwise impression. I checked the connectors, disconnecting those I immediately get the warning in the display. I am now not sure, whether one defect sensors may stop the others from working without any alarm or whether the control unit is defect. Your input is very welcome!

Thanks in advance
