As you can see in my profile I am a "engineer for industrial safety" too. I hope this translation is meaningful/understandable.
In Austria we call it "Sicherheitsfachkraft". These are those, who tell to you, you have to wear a helmet, as you shall sit in front of the computer and so on.
At my company we have also a problem with DECT telephones. Or better some collegues have problems with the installed stations in the corridors
