Yes it's possible. There is a great difference in fuel consumption regarding the driving style in the city. I can reach down to 7.5 or even 7.0, while my wife rarely below 9. The EV2 is heavy and I achieve this just by slow acceleration and inspecting the traffic far ahead - shifting the manual gearbox into neutral at 50 km/h even 300m before a red traffic light brings me there just in time ... also a bonus for the brake pads
