My sister who has exactly the same C8 as I have, was here last Sunday, experiencing the same pbl.
We take a look at the rear windows, opened them completely, and then closed them while at the end I put my hand between the window and the frame.
First the window tried to close furthermore, but then suddenly it stopped because my hand was there, and afterwards my brother in law could close the window from any half open position.
Maybe worth a try?
