I posted this on my thread earlier today that you have commented on - my windows are also doing this and it has been driving me mad - what I have found is that the windows are drifting slightly out of the vertical guide, no more than a few mm, and this causes them to refuse to go up at any point until fully wound down. If I open them partially to any point and then push them 'home' back into the guide, they will wind up ok. I think the retaining clamps on the actuator have lost grip of the glass as I can move the window fore and aft quite freely. Need to remove the internal door capping and trim to find out if I'm correct.
