I think you've hit the nail on the head so to speak....sure enough as you wind the windows down the glass "moves" back a few mm.......pushing it down at the front levels it again and sure enough it closes as it should, I tried it about 10 times and it worked every time, not levelling it immediately caused the problem again.

Like you I had noticed for quite a while (whilst cleaning the car) that the glass could be moved fore and aft quite a bit but up until now assumed that it was "as is".

I am not going to bugger about taking the door trims off as the car is still under the 3 year warranty - my dealer WILL fix that !

Well spotted and thanks - at least we now know for sure the cause, all we need now is the solution !

If my dealer lets me know what he did than I will post it back here
