@ londonirish:
OK, works - thanks for the tip!
Have deleted the pbl's I had with each car - hopefully my current 807 will be without any.
"Trustworthy EV(2) supporter....." as said, the cars have clearly their advantages compared to other vans, and I like to drive them, but it's mainly a question of money / budget. And not because of the "superb" reliability till now...
Also, the driver's seat position / seat support is not as good as that of the VW Sharan with sport seats - in EV2 I'm always touching the middle console with my right knee which isn't comfortable on long distances. I put a kind of foam on the driver's side of the console with double sided tape (which can be removed without damage with some dry cleaning naphtha).
Anybody who has changed the incline angle of the driver's seat in one way or another?
There is only a hight adjustment of the seat - I would like to rise the front of the seat cushion just a little bit to improve the leg support.
But OK. Today I made my first long trip from Gent to Verviers and back with the new 807, and I can conclude:
- 136hp engine even more quiet than the 110hp version
- 6-speed gear box combined with 320Nm - wonderfull
- average fuel consumption (after ~400km) 8.0l/100km and decreasing
.
