Finally I've bought a 807 for my family (3 children). 4 days after we've got the car we drove to Croatia for holidays (700 km)
The available space is incredible, however I needed some time to get used to the car. In the meantime (1.5 months later) I start to like the car.
The hints in this forum were extremly precious and helpful:
1. I removed this strange silicone glue from the rain sensor. Before the wiper never stopped, it was more than annoying. Now it works as expected. I even watched it working in real interval mode. Well, for me it's still not perfect, in manual mode I would choose the interval mode more often. But I guess this is the way these automatic thing works.
2. I let my garage install the cruise control (CC). What a relieve! I had problems after 500km to push the throttel. Now with the CC this shouldn't be a problem anymore.
I (1.96m tall) still didn't find a comfortable position to sit on the front seats. For my feeling the front seats are too soft, and I would like to have a better support for my thighs. Maybe the seats are worn. I've to test the seats of a friend to see if there's a difference.
Again, many many thanks for this great forum. I could eliminate the worst problems with your help. Your hints made my car significant more valuable for me!
