Same for me, being 1.97 mtrs tall I couldn't find a position that was really comfortable. There is no support for the upper legs and your knee is against the center console which is uncomfortable. I had the car from new and had it for 4 Years so don't really think it's related to the seat getting worn.

I have a feeling it might be related to the difference between electric and manual seats. The car I test-drove had manual seats while my car had electric seats. I didn't notice it while having the car with manual seats on a 24 hr testdrive...
