Smile C8 V6 exclusive outside my window!!!

Well it's 2003 model, so one not for those of weak nerves.

After reading the forum I was all in stress if I should buy the car, but in the end as someone already owning a citroen ('98 Xantia 2.0 16v exclusive - still running gracefully with it's 257000km) I gathered my courage and went for something to fit my growing family into.

And here it is, my first day with it, first 350km trip from the city I got it in. Nothing particularly serious happening so far ;) only the front right blinker doesnt work, and probably the bulb is good (havent checked that yet, the lamp seems complicated to get to) the tailbulb doesnt respond (I have just found the thread about wrong positioning of the bulb - will check and hope its it tomorrow).

But overall it runs fine!
Driving very calm way, 90-100km/h (there was a lot of traffic) I managed 9,8l/100km which I find a perfect score for the 3.0

Autobox runs fine (still affraid to use the tiptronic never used one) and the cruise control was so much fun, especially when leaving a small village and pressing the recall button, when the car would spin toward it's destination speed brutally - FUN

It has 167000 and I hope to do another 100000 with it without any belts jumping nor one or more of those funny holes in the roof dripping, I dont mind the true soul of french cars - their mighty electronics - alive (got used to that already on my Xantia). Hopefully the "Exclusive" badge with it's leather seats will make up for all incoming problems.

The tires look bald on the outer sides, the speakers.... (*SIGH*) - my Xantia is a philharmony compared to that sound... though I admit EV2 is very quiet inside. But I already knew all those colorful sides of the car before I made the final decision.

With first money I have after I recover from the shock of buying the car I'll certainly fit a sequent LPG installation, change the speakers and mount an mp3/usb thingy that acts as a cd-changer.

The forum is VERY helpful and well.... encouraging... thanks for all the courage and support lads and gals.

Add another EV2 forum member to the polish counter then and see you on the road somewhere!
