Front passenger seat facing backward

Dear all,

According to user manual front passenger seat must not be facing backward when vehicle is in motion. Does anybody know if it is even possible to turn the seat backward during driving or the car would not allow it??

Regards, Klemen

You can have the seat facing backwards while driving; turning the seat around while driving would be a challenge and requires acrobatic skills of the person sitting there
It is not allowed though as you cannot wear the seatbelt and the seat airbag will be at the wrong side (middle of the car)...

Good point with the airbag. Anyway it would be useful due to newborn twins in the middle row. With seat facing backward it would be much easier to take car of some minor situations. Of course full time seat facing backwards is out of question.

Does your car have airbags in the seat?
Mine does not!

You will create some major danger by doing so. Forget it.
Better have your wife seated in a second row between twins.

Klemen,
in case you need some adrenalin, I can take you for a paraglider flight or rock climbing or ski-mountaineering .... but PLEASE do not turn your driver's seat around during driving or at least inform us when to stay off Slovenian roads

I can't check anymore but am 100% sure the front seats have airbags. There's a black plastic cover on the side of each seat with the bag in it

There is a airbag-sign, that´s correct. The airbags are above of the side windows.

Jože,

Hvala za reakcijo, meni se ni zdelo vredno.

p.s. This is a reply to JozeR message written in Slovenian language. In short it says that I want to turn the front passenger seat (co-driver seat) and not the driver seat. As long as everybody but FuliHdi understood the question, I did not bother to react.

Regards, Klemen
