Fiat Exhaust Parts - same as other EV2s?

Hi, I'm new to this so hope you'll be patient with me! (I cannot find any threads on this one).

Are Fiat Ulysses 2.0JTD (2004) exhausts the same as C8 or 807 2.0 HDi?
I need a new Back Box. But Fiat exhausts are like Gold Dust in the UK. Very expensive to fit. The C8/ 807 has a twin exhaust venting out of the box whereas the Ulysse only has a single pipe.

C8 part no:- 190-905 (or 1726LX?) according to Leisurshack

Any comments anybody??

I canot help with the details you ask, but the single and double pipe are the same for all 4 EV's:
- single pipe for the 2.0 HDI
- double pipe for the 2.2 HDI (OLD engine, before 170 hp came on the market in 2008)

Normally, all mechanical parts should be the same for the EV's.

Hope this helps you,

Thanks for that.
I'm confused though, as the exhaust being listed for a C8 2.0HDi TD that I have found is a single pipe, with a double pipe exit from the back box. to your knowledge ths is only on 2.2 HDi's?

Like you say if its all interchangeable then it should be fine!

Fap ?

Hi & welcome!
To my knowledge the exhaust pipeing is not related to the model but to the engine - but not only as mentioned 2.2 versus 2.0 as it differs for
(2.0) models with FAP filters and models without FAP. Specially check when having a 2.0 Ulysse - many do not have a FAP, while most P807 and C8 do.

My previous 2x C8 2.0HDi 109hp without FAP had single pipes at the end.

My current P807 2.0HDi 136hp with FAP has a single pipe, too.

But because of the FAP the whole positioning of the exhaust under the car is completely different compared to the 2x C8 I had before.

So take care and be sure before you order something, I would advise.

Just have a look under your car and follow the exaust pipeing from the engine outlet backwrads and take a closer look at the first cylinder "pot" (marked as 1 on the attached picture). If it is a FAP / DPF, it has small additional pipes & wires attached (as in the picture), otherwise it is just a bare cylinder with one inlet and one outlet for the exhaust gases.

Hello. Have you sorted out your problem. If not, look up this link:
http://www.eurovan2.com/forum/eurova...available.html
or look at my listings as i've had several exhaust problems.
Basically, you can register on Peugeot or Citroen parts websites and work out which version you have by looking at the various exhaust systems. I have found that you can often get ulysse parts cheaper from peugeot and sometimes citroen are cheaper - fiat are never cheapest in my experience.
As for the leisure shack route - forget it. These parts aren't avaialable yet.
Cheers and good luck. Colin.
