Smile installing Harmon Kardon Drive+Play

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone had ever installed the Harmon Kardon Drive+Play iPod remote control unit. We have a 2003 807 HDi Executive 2.2 with the basic CD player (no phone or GPS, with the basic B&W 2 line LCD display in the dashboard). As the Drive+Play requires a phono line-in connection to the head unit, I was wondering if my head unit has these ? There is a wiring diagram for the Drive+Play at:

Harman Kardon - Drive+Play - iPod car adaptor driveplay drive+play iPod car interface iPod interface car adaptor iPod adaptor car audio iPod car stereo iPod iPodcarstereo iPodcaraudio driveandplay drive play ipod, nano ipod in car apple

Any help/advice would be much appreciated as the hiss and noise from the FM transmitter we presently use is becoming more unbearable, especially when we had the pleasure of a new 308 for a week with direct audio inputs to the stereo - great car too. If anyone else is interested in the version 1 of the Drive+Play at the amazing price of £19.99 (plus postage), it's available at the moment from a company here in the UK called Bigpockets:

BigPockets.co.uk Blank Media, CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R, DL+, Dual Layer, 8cm, Recordable Discs, Epson, HP, Cartridges, PCs, Laptops, DVD Cases, LCD HD TVs, Free Delivery

I know if I ask my Peugeot dealer about fitting it, it'll cost me £300, as that's what it seems to cost to do everything (FAP top up, new starter motor, broken window blind.....always 'about £300'http://www.eurovan2.com/forum/images/smilies/loly.gif!)

Still love my 'van' though - despite the passenger side electric door starting to almost close......then open again three times in a row before finally closing - all part of the character !

Thanks again and happy driving

Rob C
