Next birthday Meeting 2005 !

Dear Forum member,

the last meeting is gone a few days and i think about the next meeting in 2005. I would like to share with you some ideas i had after the last meeting to make it more sucessful as it was in 2004.

1.) location
To get a maximum of members to the meeting let us choose a location around Aachen. It is appr. in the center of Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands.

2.) date
Let´s make a date 1 year in advance position this date on the start page of the forum (where the RT3 Release is mentioned currently).

3.) let´s organise some actions for our children in the different ages.

4.) let´s organise (as Gerd sugested for the Belgium meeting) a kind of a city rally to learn more about the countryside.

5.) find some cheap accomodation that the most of the people can spend a night.

I think therefore we need a team of 2-4 people who organise this real big event (i remember the Harley Davidson meeting this weekend in Hamburg ).

That´s for the moments !

I´m excitedly for the feedback !!

Everything sounds good!

Just for the location, I actually envisioned a place closer to the Bürstadt ( )region.....

Talking

Hi

After i am reading the discussion about the center of Europe i have a idea. I make a map with the locations (i receive that by calling your RT3 )
of the top twenty poster here in the forum.
Now everyone can find it out where is the real center of the e2 world. By the way, the real geographic centre of the european union is the little town Kleinmaischeid near Koblenz.

Axel,
this is a great thing you made. Hut ab!

So everybody is able to see where a meeting place should be (for all) comfortable. Cool idea.

This is like in the homepage; see here; see under: Statistiques - GEOLOCALISATION
In Belgium you can see Gerd as one of the members.

I see that I am the most northerly regular poster in Manchester. Here's a suggestion for next year's meeting - why don't we have it in the SevelNord Car Park?

Good work, Axel!

I've seen that before as an add-on to another board: http://www.toyotas.de/cgi/wbb2/locat...1629c3a200fa56

Would be great if we had that module for vBulletin, too! Gerd...?

Anyway, the center of mass, easy enough to calculate, is very close to Bürstadt, undoubtedly!

(Even though Werner adds a good amount of torque from Munich :)

It's funny to see popping up those exotic places , but i guess it's very handy to have some members of our forum living actually living in that area for special arrangements etc. etc.

In the village where I live there is an annual VW bug meeting. We could have ours here on the same day and go bug squashing...

Due to the fact that the last feedback was from July, i asume
that there is not a real interest to discuss this in that timeframe !
