That seems to become a long story.

UK police told me, they investigated the address of the car holder and gave him a letter, that he has to respond to withing 28 days.

As I suspect this will be the man who had sold the car on that Saturday (if luck is with me), and he will take the full 28 days, it will not before that when the driver will receive a nother letter, that he will have to respond to within 28 days .............................

Anyhow, my insurance will deal with this case and use my insurance first (Vollkasko) and reclaim costs from the other party, once they get him.

One thing I learned from this: Once you get hold of someone, never let him go. I wouldn't want to exchange details on the hard shoulder of the Motorway, as I considered this place quiet dangerous for parking. Next time (which hopefully will never come) I will do it right on the spot and not let anyone have the chance to get off again.
