BIG Hungarian-Belgium meeting on 25.08.2005

During my holiday in Hungary I had the pleasure to meet with Jozsef, one of our Hungarian EV2 forum members.

We planned to get the second member (Vidi) also on this meeting but he couldn't come.

Starting from a forum where we have just the EV2 that linked us.....there was a fantastic personal Magyar-Belga meeting in Budapest....
We spent a wonderfull evening at the camp site near Budapest

.

I had the feeling that we have a lot more of the same interests than just the car....

I wanted just to share this with with you, other members, to let know that from time to time great things happen here on the forum...

Nope, it was already dark when Joszef came at the camp site and due to the wine and the interesting conversations we forgot to take pictures at 1.30 in the night when he left....

Need to get in touch with a croatian member since I leave for croatia on Thursday....

I can confirm hereby this is a true story! I feel a bit ashamed since I did not have enough time to make a thread about it (more precisely my PC crashed down on Friday during the thread creation and I could not repeat that message).
I can send you a picture of the wrapping of a tablet of Belgian chocolate, which was given by Spaceman for me (my two years old daughter greedily ate it despite it is forbidden for her).
I have called Vidi before the meeting and I must report that the EV2 tribe has lost him as he gave back that Peug807 to his former company.

Nice story indeed. Sounds like a really big meeting although only 2 friends participated...

While reading such threads I feel a little bit sorry that I don't live in a place where I can get to everywhere in Europe with my car (despite that, I like my place more than any other place in the globe

)

This place is much far beyond a place that car owners just exchange some technical knowledge. The fact that people from many different countries meet here together without borders or geographical distance creates beautiful friendly atmosphere.

I decided to call it a BIG meeting due to the fact that I am 1.92 and I had to look up to talk to Joszef....

BTW I guess there were not a lot of other Hungarian EV2's to ask to meet us...

Nice to see the spirit of this forum working.

One community, one friendly world built by an "stupid thing" like a car!

Just a step to a peacefull living all together

So, it would be nice to meet you all (or the most of you fromeverywhere) on 13.05.2006 at the next birthday meeting!!!
