EV2 Annual Meeting in 2007

It's almost christmas and thus time to talk about the 2007 EV2 annual meeting.

Last year's meeting has shown that it make sense to fix a date as soon as possible. Having that in the calendar already helps to keep the date free. Ok, there might be individual happenings like birthdays or stuff, however, taking into account every member's individual calender is just impossible.

Anyway, prior to a date is the location! That's what we have to figure out first. At the past meetings, there always was a volunteer and the meeting took place in his area. Makes sense due to the required organizational tasks.

Suggestions are to date:
  • Ruhr Area
  • South Bavaria
  • Berlin
I'll join everywhere, regardless where it will take place.

So volunteers, raise your hands and fix a location. First come, first serve!

Ruhr area is easy for Belgian/Dutch/French/Luxemburg members...

South Bavaria will be possible in the month August (holiday....) and is easy central and south europe members...

Berlin is likely the best for nothern members...

Maybe there should be a fourth meeting in the south of France.... for the south european members...

Anyway....we'll see...

There are a lot of (active) members here in the Ruhr Area, so maybe we could create an organizing committee? I would be willing to join in. The "Landschaftpark Nord" could be a nice place (typical old & huge industrial area which now is a wide park) - but maybe we need something more "closed" and weather-independent...

Anyhow, South Bavaria and Berlin are nice regions too!

If the 2007 Meeting would take place in south Bavaria, there will be more possibility for me to participate. In the past I've just done several blitz-weekends to Holzkirchen and Schliersee (to meet relatives).
Of course, the last word belongs to the maiority, so let's put a poll and vote!

(Ahem... something is just got broken...)

Average fuel consumption: too much!

What about the French???? I'm still thinking about a meeting in sevelnord eventually !!!!!

And our Austrians should be able to organise a meeting too if they really want to !!!!!

So, first come first served !!!!!
