nachdem ich aus dem Urlaub zurück bin und auf den Fahrten dorthin und von dort zurück intensiv den Tempomat genutzt habe, will ich eine Frage loswerden:

Mein Tempomat nervt mit der Eigenschaft, dass beim De- und Reaktivieren (Resume-Taste) offenbar die Lastschlag- und Dashpotfunktion in der Motorsteuerung ausgeblendet wird. Heißt im Klartext: Liegt man (z.B. nach einem Bremsmanöver) nur wenige km/h unter der Wunschgeschwindigkeit und reaktiviert den Tempomat über die Resume-Taste wieder, dann kriegt man einen deutlich spürbaren (Beschleunigungs-)Schlag im Triebstrang. Umgekehrt genauso: Fährt man im Tempomat-Betrieb und deaktiviert ihn durch Drücken der Resume-Taste, so gibt es ebenfalls einen spürbaren (Entspannungs-)Schlag.

Meines Wissens nach liegen die Tempomat-Funktionen in der Motorsteuerung. Da mein Auto seit dem Kauf (7 Jahre her), zumindest nach meinem Wissen, kein Software-Update des Motorsteuergerätes erhalten hat, könnte das oben beschriebene Verhalten ein alter Bug sein, der mittlerweile bei neueren Flashware-Ständen behoben ist.

Wie sieht das bei euch aus: Habt ihr mit älteren Fahrzeugen das gleiche Problem oder nicht? Und die Leute mit den neueren Fahrzeugen: wie schaut es da aus? Immer noch das gleiche Problem oder nicht?

Bitte schildert eure Erfahrungen - wie verhält sich euer Auto?

Ich fahre übrigens den 2,2l-Diesel im Fiat Ulysse...

When I asked in the Peugeot garage to fix it, they put on this well known - uh, oh, this sounds like an economical total damage, that's lots and lots of work to fix this... - face so I quit thinking about fixing it.
But it is still kind of annoying, every time the car does a little unexpected jump backwards. And if I give the car to someone else, even the garage, I have to warn people.

Does anyone here know how to fix it?

I've got one of those front light clusters with a corroded indicator contact. I've tried bending the contacts out a bit but it's already failed once & I'm sure it'll go again. Anyway, I've decided not to try the rewiring jobs I've seen on the forums here, and instead I'm going to get a replacement cluster. Problem is I tried taking it out yesterday & while undoing it is no problem, it seems the bumper needs to be taken off to allow complete removal. Is this other people's experience? If so, how is it done? At first glance I couldn't see any screws yesterday. Where are they & do I need any special tools?

die Autos haben ja eine programmierte Wartung, nach der sich dann wohl auch die Wartungsanzeige im Display am Lenkrad richtet; alle 30.000 km ist bekanntermassen der Wartungs-Intervall.

Nun hat mein Fahrzeug total lt. Kilometer-Anzeige 68050 km, jedoch zeigt die Wartungsanzeige an, daß in 11600 km eine Inspektion ansteht. Lt. Serviceheft ist die nächste Inspektion bei km 90000 fällig.
Nach dieser Rechnung hätte der Wagen aber um die 79.000 km auf dem Tacho.

Kann diese Abweichung von ca.10000 km ein Hinweis auf einen manipulierten Kilometerzähler sein ?

Ist bekannt, ob die Wartunganzeige einen eigenen Kilometerspeicher hat ?

Wie kann die Abweichung noch erklärt werden ?

Sind euch Fehler bekannt bzw. habt Ihr ähnliche Beobachtungen machen können ?

after having the audio input on my RD4 for a while and also sometimes having to do phone conversations in the car as well I decided to replace the input with the new Dension Gateway Five that has just come out.:
Dension: Gateway Five
It provides a Line input, USB MP3 and Bluetooth audio. It gives the titles to the RD4 (4-line) display and is controllable via the steeringwheel control.

So here are the steps of what I did (sorry for the picture quality, had to use a mobile phone camera...):

--------Disconnect the battery--------


Remove the air outlet by pulling it out and then the display/cover


Remove the airduct by pulling out the pin shown in the picture and then removing it




There you see what you get and the space


Remove the radio


Pull the audio and antenna cables (the antenna ones are a bit tricky, carefully press the latches first before removing - but they are at the bottom)


Remove the airbag switch cover by pulling it out, be carefull not to break the switch by pulling on the cable, there is a latch to disconnect the cable...) and the torx screw shown


Remove the door seal by lifting it up, unclip the lower cover and undo the screw shown at the top


Remove the 3 screws that hold the glove compartment


Remove the clip by pulling the middle bit first and then pulling it out


Do the same with the three clips underneath the compartment....


...and remove the cover

Then you can remove the clomplete compartment after removing the light power connection on the left had side.


I used the microphone that came with the unit. Just remove the cover on the roof for the interior light / door switches by gently pulling if off.
There I found that there is already a plug connection for the factory fit microphone, but I did not (yet) find the other end of the cable....as far as I
could see so far it is passing trough the left hand side from the car floor to behind the steering wheel....maybe someone has a suggestion.... :gruebel::dunno2::family:
(The original mic has the part#6563HS, ~30€)


Pass the cable under the roof cover to the right pillar


Pass it trough the right pillar cover (which can just be unclipped from the top, does not matter if it is not loose on the bottom)


Then it is passed above the glove compartment (do not be scared by cabling mess...I am taking power from the clove compartment
light for my Brodit mobile holder put still run a line in cable (even if my mobile can now pass music through bluetooth)




Now the Dension unit is connected to the RD4 with the adapters that are delivered, the extension to the glove compartment is pluged in
plus the antennas again. In these pictures you can see how things are located.


Here is the extension unit in the glove compartment once everything is put back together with a USB SATA Socket (with a 80GB SSD Drive). A mess again due to my power stuff for the mobile, one
day I will clean up the cabling.


This one shows the display of an MP3 track title

Experience:
+ Really nice device but
- I had it stuck once and needed to use the reset button at the extension unit
- MP3 titles can only be shown as on Pic 22, so you do not see the clock, running time etc. You will have to switch to no titles to see just the running time.
- My HTC HD2 cannot dial through the unit (it is not on the compatibility list....)
+/- well, to change things you have to use the "6" button to get to the menu and then use left/right or the next/last switch on the stalk control...but
you cannot use the dial

So some things might be better in future versions of the FW....the unit just came to market.

I have just done a service on our 2003 Peugeot 807 and when trying to remove the pollen filter housing, one of the metal screw type things (either side at the front) fell out and i can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know of a part number for the said screw so i can order another one?

Plus, how are you meant to clip the clips back on at the back of the pollen filter housing, its so tight in there and i could only do one up at the front on the right. The 2 on the left hand side (as you look at it on the car) are missing. Really rubbish design.

a) Is the original seat heating only in combination with electric seats, or also with manual seats available?

Ich hatte den Volvo/Citroen-Händler bei dem ich das Auto gekauft hatte darauf schon bei der Probefahrt aufmeksam. Er meinte der Filter würde sich schon ausbrennen, da das Fahrzeug vorher vier Monate nicht bewegt worden war.
Nach ca 4.000 km konfrontierte ich ihn wieder mit der immer wieder erscheinenden Meldung. Nun meinte er es könnt e sein, dass daa Additiv ausgegangen wäre.
Bevor ich nochmal in die Werkstatt fuhr, ließ ich meinen Lancia bei einer Lancia-Fachwerkstätte-Softwareupdaten und gab ihnen als Problem genau dieses an. Dabei stellte sich relativ rasch heraus, dass der Additivtank randvoll war. Allerdings war der Tankdeckelsensor defekt. Dies hatte zur Folge, dass der Bordcomputer nicht merkte wann nachgetankt wurde und deshalb kein Additiv dem Treibstoff beigemengt wurde. Nach dem auswechseln des Sonsors und einer der beiden Unterdruckdosen wurde die Filter regeneration zweimal zwangsinitialisiert. Der Bruckabfall reduzierte sich zwar von 180 auf 92 mBar. Leider wurde der Test aber als "erfolglos" abgebrochen.
Lancia meinte man müsse den FAP-Filter tauschen.
Ich konfrontierte ich meinen Händler damit , der mir anbot den Filter für 560,- € zu tauschen (Kulanz). Er müsse aber auch noch den Vorbesitzer wegen einer Kostenbeteiligung kontaktieren.
Darüber hinaus meinte er, könnte es passieren, dass sich der Filter trotzdem noch weiter "freibrennt"

Nun meine Frage: Hat irgendwer schon mal so ein Problem gehabt?
Hat sich der Filter tatsächlich wieder selbst regenerieren können?

diesmal bin ich auf dringende Hilfe angewiesen :canuhear:: während der Fahrt in den Urlaub mit Gespann entwickelte sich ein Traktorgeräusch (im viertel Takt) und meine Frau beklagte sich über üblen Geruch im Innenraum.

Der Verdacht viel früh auf den dritten Injektor von links (von vorne betrachtet). Hier ist die Undichtigkeit spür- und sichtbar (wegen dem Geräusch hatte ich zunächst auf undichten Krümmer getippt, bis ich den Motorkopf genauer angeschaut habe).

Leider ist die Stelle sehr schlecht einsehbar :lupe: In http://www.eurovan2.com/forum/eurova...e-undicht.html wird berichtet, wie der Inketor mit einem 7mm Inbus festgezogen wurde. Hat jemand ein Bild von dem Injektorkopf? Wo setzt man den 7mm Inbus an?

Am Injector Kopf sehe ich von der Seite nur den elektrischen Anschluss und die Dieselrückführung. Bei einer lokalen Citroen-Werkstatt war ich schon. Ausser einem Auflauf der Mechaniker :dunno2: hat das aber nichts gebracht.

Meine Frau ist schwer genervt. Das wird wohl der letzte Urlaub mit dem Phedra werden ...

Hello all,

this time I am facing trouble in my vacation: the third injector of the engine is leaking and makes some noise. Inside the car it is smelling.

In the thread it has been reported that the injectors can agein be tighten by a 7mm inbus. However I do not see the mount for an inbus at the head of the injector. As I can only see the head from the side I notice the electrical connection and the gasoline tubes for collecting the leaked gasoline.

Has someone an image of the injectors or can explain how to tighten it again?

As we have to drive back 800km with a caravan we have to fix the issue and the local dealers seems to have no clue :-( So help is extremely appreciated!

Battery was replaced last year with a Varta Silver ultra heavy duty one so I think we can rule that out.
If it was winter I'd say glowplugs possibly faulty but this is summer and even here in England it is not that cold !

The engine cranks over and over and.......and eventually starts but I am sure it used to start much better than this.
