This forum is not running on free air, it's just like your car it cost money too. We have our own server and all the other licenses costs around € 45,- each month. We try very hard to stay independent and with out and form of commercial banners.

Luckily we have around 93 contributors who generously support our effort to be a good source for everything concerning Eurovan2 and/or RT3. But only this 93 loyal members on the total of around 4230 members considered a donation.

When you download a RT3 image you already save a lot of garage cost because when a garage is doing this upgrade it cost you at least around € 100,- . And we'r saving you all of this, through providing you this image for free. So consider the forum with a small donation so we can keep this forum running.

you don't have to be a paypal user. you also can pay by credit card.

yes credit card is possibility, but I also prefer a bank transfer - I`m carefully

just a quick question...

there are numerous free services on the net for running bulletin boards, and free BB software to run on your own server, so why pay for vbulliten ?

it's not that special to warrant €45 a month (IMO)

There is at the moment only 1 forum-software that can deal with large amount of members and that is vbulletin at this moment, all the other free services are not free anymore with 7000 members and about 100 gig traffic each month. The yearly lease for vbulletin is € 85,- , but only the vbulletin software is not enough to run this portal and forum, you need your own webserver to deal with this large amount of data ( due of the download of the RT3 images ) and this is approx. € 45,- each month , which i pay and when people like, they can donate to help a bit to keep the forum alive. But i don't force anybody. Please check our statistics maybe you get a slight idea that this is not possible with free services. Also the possiblity of uploading images and all the other xtra's by vbulletin is nowhere to be found on other free forum services. Another nice thing is that the hole forum is free of irritating commercials.

So if I calculated correctly you'll need about 625 € every year. So you would need only 62 donators (out of 7000+) if everyone would just pay the proposed 10 €, even less if someone spends more!

@community: This shouldn't be a big deal, right?
