New forum features

For the members who pay very well attention , we upgraded the forum software. This mean a lot of new features such as :

Thread tagging ( tag clouds ) by posts
Inline Spam Management and Prevention Tools ( specially for admins )
Thread Prefixes
Reciprocal Friendships Between Users
Public Messaging
User Picture Galleries
User-Created Social Groups
New Member Profile Page
Member Customization of Profile Page
Inline Editing of Profile Field Values
Attachment Viewing Lightbox
Post Edit History
Social Bookmarking of Threads

Of course there are more items added on, but i suggest you take a good look around and let us know what you think or what you miss. We are very curious of your opinion

And this is why we don't have a "home page" now? There are also missing some others features at the moment??

We discover that some of our own tweaks where gone but we working on this to restore this back into this version.

BTW if you go to http://www.eurovan2.com you will find the "old homepage" back

Hi - I suddenly can not find the link for " xx new threads since last visit with xx posts" (or smewhat like this) which was yesterday still uner hte Welcome, lupo 1972 You last visited: Yesterday at 23:06 Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 25 - and then nothing else comes there now

Another question: Why do I have to log in again and again recently?? There is no relation to time lapse after inactivity.

The "new posts" was there before.
I really miss the "new posts" line that used to be at the top right part of every page.

The version is nearly the same + some addons on the area of social networking / groups and bookmarks.

What you probably more liked where all the hacks we made on the forum. Those many hacks is a nightmare for maintanance of the forum in the future.

We are trying to get most of the hacks back, but on a more better way , as addons so it is much easier for admins in the future.

But we'r always open for suggestion to make the forum better. So please tell us what you miss comparing in the new version comparing to the new version.

Just to say, you all are doing a good job to keep the forum well! Thank you therefore!!!

I miss the flag of the member on the left. Don´t laugh, I like it!

If I answer in a thread, I see it like this, screenshots added.

I guess it is a question of habit, so don´t worry!

One good thing is, now I can insert a smiley with clicking on it on the right side. This was temporarily not possible.
Maybe you can to change the selection of smileys shown there.

And the amount of Thanks and Thanked is resetted!
