First impressions:
A lot of power at low RPM.
Good combination of strong diesel and automatic transmission.
Very silent engine.
Consumption the first 500 km: 8,5 - 10 l/100km.
Interior much more high-end than the previous EV2 (3,0 V6).
Good brakes.
RT4 much quicker than the RT3, 3D bird view looks fantastic.
Real alternative to the no more available 3,0 V6.

How many speeds has a gearbox? Is it a kind of tiptronic (you can change speed manually)?

Ohh, you're tempting me ! Would be nice to trade in our 807 before the 3 year warranty ends in November.... but then there are so many other things to spend money on.

It has 6 gears and tiptronic.

This afternoon, my dealer picked the new car up.
Guess what happend : empty battery (after 5 days only).
The ventilator was running four several hours.
When I checked it I phoned to my dealer who told me to pinch off the battery, but it was already to late. Probably the relay of the ventilator is broken.
I will have some news tomorrow.

Hi & welcome!
I'm adding some more good wishes since it looks like you have used up all Werner's wishes before draining the battery. It's a bit worrying that a new EV2 still can't run trouble-free and uncovers such basic problems .... I hope these wishes won't need to pile up so you can really enjoy your 807 as soon as possible.
Rgds Bor.

I got my car back. The relay of the ventilator did not work correctly.
It's good to see what caused the empty battery and that it is not the usual "weak battery phemomen" with no obvious reason.

And my opinion is that there is no causeless "weak battery phemomen" otherwise we all have to suffer a flat battery periodical. I rather think that garages are not able to figure out causal error.
However, good luck anyway !!!!

New HDi 2.2 biturbo automatic webasto

Ciao tutti!
Hallo zusammen!
Hi everybody!

I'm newcomer here, but old "Eurovan-er".

------------------------------------------------------------------------
The meritum at the start:
Lucky ones, haveing jet 807 2.2 biturbo '08 - could You check if there is additional heater, please?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do own (one of the first imported to Poland) F.Ulysse 2.0 JTD, manual5, 2003 , 150kkm- NO ANY SERIOUS FAULT EVER (O,Gosh! where is unpainted wood to knock this out !)

Ulysse is not offered in Poland by Fiat enymore-unsellable car.

Now I've just ordered fecelifted P 807 2,2 HDI automatic, navi, sunroofs (gambling?) and full list of extras.
3 months challenge for my impatience... .

My wife (Mazda Cx7 , petrol ,manual6, 4x4 ,260HP!) couldn't understand "warum wieder Omnibus! "

You -everybody on the EV2 forum - You know warum!

But haveing two of those Vans I'll need a lot of technical help and "spiritual support" to mange , I'm afraid... .
(That's why I'm here for, money for this "fight" will have to gain myself)

Well, haven't new car yet, but have questions about "gadgetology". Impatient...

Additional heater.
I want to prepare to upgrade it to Standheizung and now order upgrade kit and T100 for steering.
But my Webasto shop asked my if new 807 2,2 biturbo
is equipped in additional heater at all.

Have it or not?

You may think I'm clumsy- why I won't ask my dealer?
Same reason like You all have in whole our Continent. Seems like it was no difference for them to sell cars or patatoes- understand only colour and price. But what's inside is black hole.

Best Regards
Tomasz

To all V6 EV2 drivers:
The performances of the 2.2HDi automatic are at least as good as those of the V6, I would even say the are better.

congrats' with your new car. Perhaps I get to test one some day, though I can't believe anything can replace the joy it is listening to and driving a real V6
