Smile Finally my new car is coming very soon

Today brought a visit to my dealer to check my new Lancia Phedra 170 ps with leather, electric doors and roofs and many other xtra gadgets.

Check the photo's of the new car

Have to wait for nearly 1 week before the license plate and all the other paper stuff is arranged but then i can finally drive the new Lancia Phedra experience.

Congratulations!!

Nice car!!! Good looking! It would be nice to compare in real, which car looks better. You know, I'm not so satisfied with the colour of mine. But time changes...

But are you crazy? Ordering sun roofs? Knowing the typical issue? No scare about water dropping in?

Good luck so far with the new car!!!

After nearly 5.000 km I can promise you, that you will be satisfied!

So I have hope now you will list the new option 2,2 JTD/HDI 170 hp and 2,2 JTD/HDI 170 hp automatik in the list of Control Center soon!

HAHAHAHA, got my own jokes back to me

Anyway i did already a small ride on the area of the dealer , and it feels great driving the automatic. Very curious next week how it feels to drive the car in normal traffic.

Let you know about any new developments.

Compare the right seat at the photo - the red lever, like the one at the middle seat...

Not a new mechanism, just a new grip!

But something changed: To meve the seats in the rails is much easier as in my old car. Even the middle seat. I had always troubles to move it. Now my son (9) is able to do that sitting on the seat!

Pirelli is clearly visible on image 1584.
Usually, Lancia should get Pirelli P6000, Citroën Michelin Pilot HX, and Peugeot depends on what remains available. Hope to get Michelin with my Peugeot...

Me too.

Michelin will last a little longer, but to my opinion the Pirelli's are better in all other criteria (wet road, road ability, comfort, ...).

Gerd, already remapped your engine? (I saw in another thread that you are not 100% satisfied with the response time of your engine/turbo)

greetings
Peter

Gerd, where did you get the remap done ?

They offer a remap here in London for around 300GBP and you end up with 495NM in torque.
This is not bad as the original delivery is with 400NM for the Auto 6 speed box and 370NM with the manual 6 speed as well.

I was last week with a neighbour who got his brand new Galaxy 2.2TDCI remapped with the torque above mentioned. He happily pulls a double axle caravan and kids like us...

I was impressed by the torque available so early just below 1500rpm...
No need for power but torque is really impressive. He changes gear below 2000rpm all the time. Let's be clear, he is not a boy racer at all but takes advantage of the torque for the horse box he has in the garden. I believe he travels around a fair bit with the kids for the different shows and jumping festivals.

Anyone knows if the 6 speed Auto box on the 170hp is the same as the one on the 2.7HDI ?
The 2.7HDi delivers 440NM as max torque.
