You are far better informed than I :)
I wonder if the C6 3.0 will ever get to the UK in RHD form. I bet it is a dream to drive and the extra HP will change the character of of the car completly.
Although I can't translate Planete Citroen properly, I can't find anybody talking about the 3.0D.
There are "chips" available on the 2.7 to take it to an claimed 245hp and at some stage I may give it a go.
The PSA / BMW partnership is developing next generation diesel engines at Hams Hall, so I don't know if the Ford partnership will continue.

RHD 3.0HDI: Possibly but on 407 coupe, C5 II and C6, not on 607 as I have just learned last week at a Peugeot dealer in Dijon.

The French public website has not been updated yet, only the intranet at the dealer's premisces. That is why I could see it when I stopped at the french dealer but back home had an issue finding it... The deliveries out of the factory have already started with the C6. They are for the main dealers only in the Rennes or Paris area.
First deliveries to the public as of June 1st.

To find more on this, you have to search under the engine code name: DT20 or 3.0HDI in the forum.

You can look for the specification of the 3.0 HDi on the austrian citroen site under C6 .... (www.citroen.at).
Power 241 HP, torque 450 Nm (limited on PSA cars because of the Aisin gearbox).
This engine is could have a maximun torque of 600 Nm (look at Jaguar or Landrover) if the gearbox allows.

The new AISIN gearbox has a limit of 500Nm with the 3.0HDI as shown on the website you mention.

It is still the 450Nm limit for the 2.2HDI bi-turbo and for the V6 2.7HDI.

We are talking about two different AISIN gearboxes here.
I will try to get the two references asap.

Hello, the 3.0HDi is available almost across every Citroen website in Europe now...

Engine code name is DT20C (177kW - 243hp)
No more 2.7HDI on the website just like the V6 petrol...


But bear in mind that a revised version of the 2.2HDI Bi-turbo 173hp will also soon be made available: -> DW12FC (2.2 HDI 150kW - 204hp)

The 2.0HDI engine will itself be upgraded to the new engine DW10FC (130kW - 176hp) unless it is the other versions DW10FD (110kW - 150hp and 120kW - 163hp) which will also be available on the 3008, 5008 and soon C4 Grand Picasso.

Hello,
The UK website now configures the new V6, but I wonder if any will ever be made in RHD format. UK dealers no longer have showroom models or demonstrators. I have made enquiries with Citroen Retail and the sales guy hadn't even heard of a 3.0D !!
Looks like the C6 is going to be scapped soon by PSA.
If anyone is brave enough to buy one for 38K you may have a tidy investment, it may be unique!

C6Matt, no you should be positive...
C6 will be "reviewed" mid 2010 with a mild relift...

RHD C6 3.0V6 HDI no news yet but answer is positive as well. No intention not to sell it like that.
Biggest market is France closely followed by Germany and Luxembourg for our beloved C6...

Be patient, something should appear by December in the UK... Other continental European markets have to be supplied and the Rennes factory is running at very low output levels. Take it on the positive side: Quality is top notch !
