The Delta comes back

After long time a Lancia will launch a new "Delta" in 2007

It fills the gap in the lancia portfolio and its the prooft that there won't be an end of the lancia brand as feard one year ago.

It seems to be a sportive Y/Musa in the back and a BMW 1/Grande Punto at the front.

In short a nice car!

To me the back looks a little bit like the new small volvo because of the great window.

But you are right, the backlight are Musa-like.

Fakt is lancia need this car and it looks better than the pangea.

Hope it will be more successful that the Thesis. Also a great design in my opinion, however it didn't get the acceptance at least in Germany.

Anni Friesinger had just changed her Phedra for a Thesis. Kai Wiesinger has also one.
And the comedian Jörg Knörr has a phedra (maybe we should ask him if i knows this forum and if he wants to be a member but I'm sure he has no troubles with his garage).

Now lancia came to the same clue and modified the optic a little bit.

There are new rumours about the delta.

Now it shoud become a V50-fighter, which means that it will be more a beta than a delta.

Maybe its the predecessor of the lybra, which isn't available anymore in germany.

The new Lancia Delta HPE concept car is being unveiled at the Venice Film Festival.

Now the backlights are more Thesis-like again.
