No - Nokia never ever again!
Not because I am a German but because I don´t like Nokia using EU-money and a lot of substitutions from the german goverment to build a factory in Germany and than moving to another country to get the money again from EU. This sucks!

YOU ARE SO RIGHT - I stopped buying and supporting NOKIA - they should feel that we do not accept and support each business decission! And I am not allone and I hope many other consuments do the same.

I'm afraid it's an uphill battle - have you ever heard of globalization? Why would they pay a German or a Dane 30 EUR an hour to make cell phones if a Romanian can do it for 10 or Vietnamese for 2 EUR an hour? That's just the way it is!

Regards

Lars

That's true, but some power still is in our hands, because we are the ones to buy the things! So I won't buy a Nokia now (I kept an eye on the N95 8GB before...).
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how the discussion on paying back the german support money will end. It's really a shame that they were never really controlled if they fulfill the obligations they had to promise to get the money. As always - it seems to be quite easy to get a real lot of money, but not a small credit...

If that's the situation, why are you wasting time in the internet? You've got lots of 'job' to do!

BTW, I am currently using NOK5110 as at the other photo (besides of RT3...).
I have tried several modern phones, but they have tons of features which I don't need and I have to hit too many keys to get to features which I do need.

But with this technology you are sponsoring Bill Gates! and this is a monopolist, is this better?

I do NOT defend Nokia, but I guess many companys do this. The governments should do something against this occurrences!

That's my mobile as well - a fantastic piece of kit. When in the car it resides in a Brodit holder attached to a proclip over the central air vent and connects through Bluetooth to an SE car kit. Phone, GPS, and everything else and it's totally portable and totally integrated (with no extra wires)!

Sorry, but i earn a living with Microsoft , and a part of my earnings keeps this forum running. Besides i prefer to buy a mobile that fits my needs, and political issues are last on my list concerning buying a mobile

And lucky for me, this Microsoft stuff is far from perfect, so that insures my retirement, and keeps me very busy on a daily base.

I trust the Tomtom on my Mobile much more than the onboard RT3, which is hopelessly old.

The next car will have a sort of bluetooth set to connect my mobile and Ipod to the onboard RT4. Looking around at the moment , for the proper gear.

Dear Werner,
just smile. Tomorrow can be worse!

By the way, check this german car.

I heard that Mercedes will build a factory in Romania, too.
Maybe Nokia will leave Romania and they will go to Ukraine...and you will be happy again.

Hello and welcome in the forum!

You must know, I don´t care where Nokia produces their Products. I just dislike that Nokia gots a lot of money to be in Bochum and they did not hold the contract!

Hello,
as I know Nokia will give about 200 mil. Euro compensations. If you will protest by not buying any Nokia products made in Romania I will protest by not drinking German beer. Ever!
Ohhh, just a minute! Can I change my mind?

My friend: Never say never!
