Dab
Hi everyone,
I attended a media convension today (www.medienversammlung.de - german), where they talked about digital radio (DAB) and digital televsion (DVB-T) - DVB-T will come to my region in fall 2004. So now I'm interested if you - the forum members - would like to see DAB support in new RT3 hardware versions. Arnd |

Sure, that would be quite a step. But therefor, they have to change the hardware....

I can have DAB on my TV-tuner also.
The reception is not as good as a standard FM yet in Belgium. Sometimes the receiver doesn't have any signal at all. For TV, it works fine, but also not perfect. The only problem there is that there are 4 different channels in Belgium, and the switch from 1 to the other is not automatic. This means I have to select 3 different stations when watching (my kids in the back off course) to the Belgium VRT and driving from Ostend to Brussels (100 km). kind regards,

I have Dab radio on a couple of sets here in the UK. There are some stations there that you cannot get on FM that I like to listen to. So it would be very nice to have in the car. With digital broadcasts though reception tends to be all or nothing, so unless there is a nationwide minimum strength signal, which I doubt, you would often get silence whereas FM would continue to give a signal that could be listened to at least.

Hey Jantje,
Your screens in the car look very nice, could you post some more detailed pictures and tell me more about how it is installed / fixed. And a budget. I would like to install something similar but not at any price. Thanks in advance, Casey
