How often do you fit the rear seats

I almost never fit the last row of seats in the rear of my Ulysse. I wondered how many of us bought the EV2 for its space for 4 or 5 people and a (very) large boot capacity?

I guess you mean putting in and out the rear seats?

I do it if I need space to carry something or if I need more seats for more paxes.

Normally I have one of the 3rd row seas in the car but folded down - so I have 6 seats on board in the case to need them urgently - with this you have 6 seats but also large space to store things in the trunk.

I alway use 3rd row seats because I need to fit four kids into my Phedra. Usually my configuration is 2-2-2. Middle seat in the second row in usually removed for easy access to the third row and for storage space for toys, small bag, clothes... every little thing that comes along with small kids.

Does anybody use trunk for loading third row passengers? My older sons use it for enter/exit the car in case the middle row is too crowded.

Regards, Klemen

Same in my case, we have one seat in the 3rd row (2-3-1 configuration) about 70% of the time, 2-3-0 about 25% and 2-3-2 about 5% of the time.
In the 2-3-1 congfig. we always use the boot to get into the last row.
The 2-3-1 config is much beter regarding leg comfort than 2-2-2, so it's very suitable for teens.

Never fitted for me since I bought the 5-seat version! As you said, bought it for the large trunk...

Either I have the 7-seater, I drive mostly 2-3-0. But next August my 3rd kid will be born, so I presume I'll turn to the 2-2-1 configuration. Will see my wife what will prefer...

In the past - with 3 small Kids - I've stored the seats regulary in my cellar.Only took them into the car if I really need them. 2-3 times a year.

Now it has changed. The Kids ar 9, 9 and 12. If I take them to school or to sports, birthday parties etc. it is usual to have seat 6 and 7 in the car. So I'm able to take the friends of my kids with us, even if the situation is unexpected.

But fold the seats to be planes in the trunk.

Normally the space in the trunk is enough just with the folded seats in to take 4 cases ogf water or beer. Why not store some things like shop.bags etc on the back of the folded seats?

So I'm prepared for every situation.

Just going to holidays I put the seats out!

BTW:

@miguelto: Congrats to your 3 th! You are a lucky one!

I only use 2-3-0 with 3 small kids, because it was easier to get on the middle seat than on the seat on 3th row.

To remove the 2nd row seats is much easier than those of the 3rd row.

I have 4 kids so I use the 3rd row all of the time. I use a 2-2-2 setup with one outside seat missing from the middle row. This provides a bit of a 'porch' or way in to the car for the 3 older kids through one rear door and the baby goes into a baby seat through the other rear door. Easy access for all and my boot is still a boot (even though it's small and only has room for the pushchair!).

Always all seats in the car. Need the places for the "kids" (20-18-15-13).

The one chair which is not used is most of the time the middle seat in the 2nd row - often folded-down as a little table during longer trips.
