Hi everybody from Spain...
As you probably know, BMW uses Navteq's maps in its cars. Well, it isn't the same structure and probably (i'm not sure) they don't use an RT3, but anyway their navigator use Navteq maps. There is just other diference 'cause RT3 reads CD and Navteq's maps for BMW is burned in a DVD but i think it's not relevant. The fact is that in Spanish BMW forum some members have done it: Add POI's to his cartography (specifically, the have added Trafic Radars location in all Spain!!!). I'm not sure but maybe their experience can be usefull for us (I hope) and could, at least, add POI's in ours Rt3s... This is the link to the post... http://www.bmwfaq.com/showthread.php?t=98219 You needn't register to read the post and get acces to the forum, but you have to register to download files from it. Of course the forum is all in Spanish but you can translate it using this web: http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr Well, I hope it'll be helpfull |
