Radar In Rt4

Janif realmente eres grande.

I've answered at panete-citroen.

For those who are interrested, I've found the POI icon format of the RT4. But before publishing any information, I have to make a lot of tests, to provide an easy way (without opening it) to restore a RT4 in case of incorrect modification and some basic tools to help "newbies".

Can somebody explain me how to make the speedcamer's visible after the modified map is installed in the RT4 system. I don't find something that is referring to a speedcamera or traffic control in the RT4 system.

As written in red in RTxMapditor user's guide, the RT4 does not display the speed trap icon.

Chose another one and speed traps will be dispayed with this icon. Of course, you have to enable the display of the icon first in the map, details of the map menu.

Cool 7.11 firmware update

the rar contains the image to write the firmware CD. Note that 7.11 is only one CD (7.10 was on 2 CD's).

anyway, the first rar contained 10 pieces of 50 mb and had some issues...
The new version of the rar only has 5 pieces of 100 Mb and should be problem free, as long as you use winrar to decompress and burn the image at slowest speed possible. Further on, while updating, leave the engine running (so the car won't go into ecomode) and release the SIM-card (so you can't receive a call during the update). After the update do a "dark reboot" (keep pressing the 'dark' button during 10 seconds).

part1 part2 part3 part4 part5

The only issue we noticed after installing the 7.11 update was that the SUAL LED stays red... But the emergency call works fine.

grtz,
Bondbelgium.
