P.S. My Map CD is Eastern Europe (South) 2006/2007 - TD3004800</v:shapetype>

I've found what happend with this map.

All RT3 maps are included in a grid. Generally, this is a 12*18 grid composed of 256km*256Km squares.

The TD3004800 do not use this grid, but another one which is 17*15 (probably because the "regular" grid is not sufficient to contain some countries. And RT3MapEditor checks the grid size and refuses this one for the RT3.

I should be able to handle this specificity, it's more or less the same for the new 2007/2008 format where the grid has variable size and depends on the country.

Janfi67 - Thanks for the SW - good job. I have the same problem as Hiltrade with the same map. Is there any recommendation how to fix it?

Wait for RTxMapEditor 0.4.0.5 which should be published today, I'm passing the tests on fthe final version.

The problem should be fixed, I've successfuly loaded and "patched" this map, but I don't have any POI to add. Nevertheless, I'm quite confident in the fix.

Hi, using rtxmapeditor 0406 i will patch my Germany 2007/2008 Map and get this error. while config. Map is TDO007800 Germany 07/08. The Cd works in mey RT3

map with volume name starting by TDO are old map, up to 2005 not supported by RTxMapEditor.

Real 2007/2008 maps have a volume label starting by TD41.

But most of the files on CD are June or July 2007. and the label.txt calls as NAVTEQ

Yes, it's a fake.

Label.txt file exists only on old format map. You can also recognize them thanks to the GRUPPO_1.DAT file.

2007/2008 maps have instead a GRUPPO_4_ROOT.DAT, GRUPPO_4_MRE.DAT and GRUPPO_4_CID.DAT files.
