Question More compatible with TomTom POI

It would be great when there will be a option to import Tomtom POI's in the RTxMapeditor. In the north of europe TomTom is much more common.

Yes, but if you do this conversion you don't have the full functionallty anymore of RTxMapeditor. Check the matrix inside the help pdf. I would like to use all the xtra's on RTxMapeditor.

BTW. I guess in Northern Europe TomTom is very common. So why not add this on the list of accepted formats ?

At the moment i'm member of GPSPassion Plus, but that doesn't help me because they only offer France radar traps, Not each european countries seperated. This website of GPSPassion is a nightmare to understand.

For European fixed speed traps, you can use the free http://www.scdb.info/en/plugin-google-earth/ database. It supports the simplidied adding process with automatic icon assignment.

For mobile radar, you have to do the icon assignment by yourself with individual asc files.

The x'tras you're talking about require not only the support of ov2 format, but also a complete knowledge of the database structure, generally packed into a zip file to extract and dispatch individual files/speed trap in the correct category.

Up to now, in addition to scbd, I've found only one non french databas of this type, an italian one (PoiGPS - Punti di Interesse per Navigatori Satellitari). Do you have example of other database of this type?
