TMC

- Menu's are reordered, much more logical now

- Option to enable TMC is located under 'Routing Options' (Zielführungsoptionen) next to 'Toll Roads' and 'Ferries', and it's called 'Traffic Info'

- TMC icons on the map feature an arrow indicating the direction of the traffic jam/road works etc. (screenshot)


Map and Routing

- Street names readout is optional now

- arrows indicate the driving directions direction (for example in one-way roads) at 50 m zoom setting (screenshot)

- Additional route calculation option next to 'Quickest' and 'Shortest' called 'Time/Distance'.

- Navigation demo mode. Virtual drive along the calculated route at the expected velocity.

- Option to use way points along a route to force navigation along specific locations

- redesigned navigation detail display

- distance and ETA shown in full screen mode (screenshot)

- dynamic routing based on TMC

Commodity

- MP3 support. To see the titles and names of the songs, one has to explicitely enable a 'show song info' option. The list button as well as the arrow keys can be used. Without the navigation CD though, and it's not possible to remove the map CD after route calculation and insert an MP3 CD whilst still navigating. Burn MP3 CDs as ISO Level 2 to get 31 character long filenames. (screenshot)

- Radio Text. Displayed in the audio screen mode at the location where the CD/TEXT or ID3 tag info is being displayed in Audio-CD / MP3-CD mode (screenshot)

- PTY display

- Removal of various translation errors

- Mute on voicecommands

- Mute on PDC (6.6 only)

- Boardcomputer: more options (km/l and PSI)

- Infrared data transfer from/to RT3
