Peugeot 4007

Does anybody know the make/model of the salellite system fitted in the new 4007? Also, given that Citroen are marketing the same basic vehicle as the C-Crosser, do you think there will be a new forum added to the Eurovan portal to cover this system?

Interested to know as I ordered my 4007 a week or so ago with the full system....

I think it's the same system as in the Mitsubitsi Outlander.

I drove the Citroen C-crosser and everything in there felt like Mitsubitsi style and i think the navigation system is a VDO Dayton

Congratulations

I'm interested as well, having seen the 4007 at our local dealer..
Only thing I'm not sure about is interior space. It feels a lot smaller than the 807 and am not sure if 3 people will fit comfortable in the back (2nd row).
Maybe a test drive will convince me

What's the delivery time for the 4007?

The c-crosser and also the 4007 are a lot smaller inside and the 2nd row has not the big chairs like the eurovan2. So consider very well what you want and the best thing is probably a good long test drive with the HOLE family to get to know your needs.

4007 Delivery Time

Startins quoted 12 weeks (although in reality this coud be 6-8) as mine is a factory order - specific model, colour, sat nav + bluetooth. The test drive convinced me! I have two children - 11 and 13 - so the second row is no problem and I will rarely if ever need the third row.

VDO Dayton Model in 4007

The VDO Navigation 4100 appears to be a 1-din mono unit. The 4007 comes with a colour 7 inch screen sat nav. Does anybody know the VDO Navigation model number that is used, assuming it not to be the 4100? I think it may be the MS 5700 XL.....

Peugeot 4007

Do you know what the problems were or do you have a URL detailing these? I don't seem to be able to find anything on the web and of course I am interested having a 4007 on order.....

Question Any Ideas?

No response to my questions posed several weeks back, apologies in advance for re-asking....

a) Any idea of th make/model of satellite equipment in the 4007/C-Crosser/Outlander?

b) Will new threads be added to the forum specific to these models?

c) What were the problems with the early released cars?

It's not part of the Eurovan platform, so a subforum for the VDO system will be somewhat misplaced.

I know, I know.... If it was up to me, I would either go to the Volvo garage for an XC90 or Disco III.... it's my that needs convincing....

Trouble is, I like my toys in a car... A fully kitted XC90 or DIII will be around £35K, the GT 4007 offers all the tools I want for £25. Big difference....

Plus that my 2 rear seats have been eating dust in the garage for the past xx Months...

I've booked a 24hr testdrive later this week in the 4007, looking forward to it

Do I dare say it....
I've managed to convince the

Today I've signed the papers for a pre-registered xc90 D5 SE (Geartronic).
For the non-UK's: Pre-registered means that the car was purchased/registered by the garage early October, but only has delivery (30) miles on the clock.
As they discounted the car by £4500 I couldn't resist...
