Unhappy RT3 GPS not conecting to sattelites

I've upgraded my RT3 to 6.63(from 6.52) and I have happily discovered that the radio-cd has become an mp3 player...the problem is that I think that's when I've lost GPS functionality . Sattelites visible are now stuck to 0(location:bad), and before it could usually pick up about 8. Also, the: Asisstance call service downgraded started appearing everytime I start the engine/RT3 unit.
That is very unfortunate as I've just found navi cds with my region for sale in my country.

Help

Andrei

I blame this on the sw upgrade or on the fact that the battery has been disconnected several times since I've seen it work. Maybe it doesn't "see" the gps antenna anymore...but why? I am going to Bulgaria in about 10 days and the navi would certainly come in handy

How long did you wait the satellites? After a power failure (such as a disconnected battery) you have to wait as long as 20 minutes to get the GPS signal back.

It's been about a week since the last disconnect. Tried the DARK buton many times, disconnected from battery 2 times, downgraded then upgraded again(credit card trick). Don't know what else to do

This monday it started working. Always "sees" from 4 (between buildings) to 10 sattelites The "Assistance call service downgraded" message also stoped showing at startup, so I think the 2 problems are related.
Considering I have no ideea what happened to make it work again, I am afraid of the next battery disconnect

The GPS antenna in the 307 is external, into the same enclosure than the FM aerial. There is the GSM antenna too.
