NAVTEQ - RT3/RT4 Navidrive - 2008

... and I even got a letter with a discount of 80 EUR! That reduces the price to 199 EUR which is no longer insanely expensive but just very expensive! Anyway, I would have bought the maps if the link Navteq stated hadn't been invalid ...! I might also call the toll-free number but I wold have preferred to use the internet store ... I'm still considering what to do!

I now have my 2009-10 map CD's! In fact there are two complete set of discs: one for the RT3 and one for the RT4/5. Contrary to my old 2005-06 maps there's no software-CD 's included!

Also availible for RT4 Benelux, because i only see for RT3

Yes - one set is marked RT3 and the other set is marked RT4/5.

What is a little strange about the maps is that the box and the CD's are clearly labelled 2009-2010 - but if I look in the description on my RT3 it says e.g. Benelux 2008-2009!

A RT4 with Software v8.11 identifies all maps as v8.0 2009/2010 1ed. The "CD_VER" files on the CD's contain this additional data (compare to 07/08 and 08/09: http://www.eurovan2.com/forum/wip-co...html#post89652):

As I wrote above, all Maps are shown as v8.0. So the "\MAPPE\xxx\CD_VER.LA.INF" is the same
"VERSION:8
RELEASE:0"
for all RT4/5 CDs.
CID: and CD_NAME: in "\MAPPE\xxx\CD_VER.LA.INF" is the same as in the list above.

Volume names for RT4/5 CDs are:

We have to rely on nygaala for providing the RT3 labels.

Side note:
Compared with other labels we now have (http://www.eurovan2.com/forum/wip-co...html#post90310) it seems that there is a numbering sheme:

"TDxxyyzzzz"
xx = the System the map is for. "41" could be RT4/5, "30" = RT3
yy = the "CID" of the above list
zz = version of the map (running number like "3293" for the v8.11 update for the RT4/5)
